HAWS Giving
HAWS is
a charitable, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization funded primarily
by donations and fundraising events. We receive no governmental
tax-based revenues, although some local governments do contract
with us for animal control (impound) services on a cost basis. Funds raised are
used to provide for our animals, including proper veterinary care, good food, warm beds and toys. Funds
also support education and outreach programs that promote responsible
pet ownership and prevent animal abuse. All donations are fully tax deductible as allowed by law.

Gifts of Love
One of the most meaningful ways to help animals is to make a gift in honor or in memory of a special person, animal or occasion. We acknowledge your donation to us by sending a beautiful card to the giftee in your name. Our thoughtful memorial cards let grieving loved ones know that you are thinking of them.
General Donations
General donations, both of money and supplies, which help us provide shelter 24/7/365 for lost, abandoned, unwanted or stray companion pets are welcome any time. Or, if you prefer, you may request that your gift be designated for a special fund.

Annie's Fund for homeless animals needing medical care
HAWS Mobile Adoption center
Small Animal Fund for care of HAWS' rabbits, guinea pigs, etc.
Sponsorships - for our SNIP clinic, special events, educational programs

Workplace Giving
If you participate in the United Way or your employer’s workplace giving campaign, consider designating your contributions to HAWS. Workplace giving is an easy, convenient way to show your support for our mission.
Double Your Money!!
You may be able to increase your gift to HAWS through a workplace matching gift program. Many companies will match or even double charitable contributions made by their employees. Ask your personnel administrator about your employer's policy. Sign and send the paperwork to our development office; we'll submit it and let you know when we receive your employer's matching grant.
