25th Annual HAWS Pet Walkathon OUR BIGGEST - and WETTEST -
WALKATHON EVER! Thru the generosity of our community we were able to raise over $40,000 at this year's event - our most sincere thanks to everyone for coming out on a very soggy Saturday!

High-tail it with hundreds of pet lovers
to this day-long festival!
Walk the 1-, 2- and 3-mile trails through beautiful Minooka Park throughout the day.
Your participation and pledges are needed, to provide proper care, food, bedding, toys and lots of attention for animals in need.
Funds are also used to support HAWS' humane education programs that promote responsible pet ownership and prevent animal abuse!
You can also visit vendor booths and participate in fun
and games in a large, open activity area.

Firstgiving lets you register online and then set up your own online fundraising page that can be personalized with your own photos and text. Send out the page link to people in your address book, and have them pledge online to support your participation in the Walk-a-thon.
Not only is it easy for you to set up, but it is easy
- and secure - for people to make donations.
You can earn prizes by collecting pledges for your walk from friends, neighbors, relatives and colleagues on an offical Pledge Form (download via link), too. Anyone turning in any amount will receive a walkathon pin. Special neckscarves will be given to HAWS Alumni (both dogs and cats.)
