WILDLIFE ASSISTANCE

HAWS helps area residents answer the "call of the wild" by rescuing and providing rehabilitative care for injured and orphaned wildlife.  We maintain the state and federal permits necessary to legally care for wildlife and work cooperatively with area wildlife rehabilitators.  When necessary, HAWS rents humane live traps for animals requiring capture and relocation.  We strive to teach people to peacefully co-exist with wildlife.

If you are having a problem with a wild animal, call the HAWS shelter at 262-542-8851.
