Our camp sponsors allow us to give free registration to families who could not afford our fees. Sponsors also allow us to keep our camp fees affordable for most families.

Kids-n-Critters
Day Camp
Through activities, games and arts & crafts, Kids 'n Critters day camp focuses on animals and their care.
Not only will kids be learning about animals and their care, they will have the chance to use what they've learned in working with our animals at the shelter!
Activities Include:
- Volunteer work — kids will learn that having a pet requires work and responsibility by helping clean cages and providing food and water to animals here in the shelter.
- A chance to interact with, learn about the behavior and care for the types of animals found in the shelter.
- How to behave appropriately with both familiar, and strange animals
- Over population and other issues that concern animal shelters.
- 5-day camps include a Thursday field trip.

This camp will have a special emphasis on drawing and painting of animals. There will be a field trip to the Henry Vilas Zoo in Madison
